Madi entered Circle & Square’s life in 2020. She popped into my inbox like everybody else - not asking for a single discount or free thing. She even spent time chatting about living close to my Texas hometown. Madi wanted to share about my shop on her instagram and asked if I had a discount code for her friends.

Enter cringe moment: I told her I had never used promo codes! I had never even run a shop sale either. I just always did low prices since managing sales + codes seemed hard and I was already exhausted from motherhood + running my shop. Despite that, Madi still generously shared my small shop with her instagram community.

Looking back - the timing of Madi entering my life was such a blessing. Before Madi, we took a huge risk and moved my shop from our living room into a warehouse. We threw caution to the wind and splurged on our first industrial printer...and then COVID hit. It was a scary time for us.

Enter Madi Nelson, her friends (aka Instagram community) showed up in the 100s and completely changed the course of my family’s life! My mama side-hustle has never been the same since. We’ve been able to increase our charitable donations and impact because of the ball Madi and her community got rolling.

Madi is one of the good ones on social media. And in our book, she will always be the best one because of her heart for small shops and the way she cares about her community she's built.
