This is an add-on for a framed board for those who wish to have their board have magnetic capabilities. This item is not a framed magnetic board on its own. If you order the magnetic color package on any framed board listing, then you do not need to order this.
please note that the 2 month set will be size .5" magnets
Note: the magnetic capability allows you to stick magnets to the front of the calendar. Cheap/weak magnets won't work. If the magnets you have can't hold up 4 pieces of paper on a fridge, they're too weak. Anything stronger will work great!
Two of the ten magnets have already chipped and it isn't very clear that after paying to make the board magnetic, it actually won't work with many magnets. It needs very strong magnets, making it much less functionally useful than I was expecting.
Love the Magnetic board component, I wouldn’t have wanted it without that option, it’s so helpful to clip on important things (bill; school paperwork etc to not lose them and have to be done by a certain date!)
These magnets are very small, but very strong. That made them hard to handle and hard to break apart. Literally, if two are stuck together, most members of our family can't separate them. We ended up trying to use other magnets instead.
Unfortunately the magnetic piece was very expensive and most magnets don’t work. The included ones do, but I had hoped to use other ones as well. I was very happy with the rest of the product, but this piece was disappointing.
Magnets don’t stick in the middle of the board. Very weak on the magnetic properties. My dry erase pens won’t even stay on. Didn’t have that issue on my last board (Pottery Barn). Very disappointed. Waste of money.
Such a beautiful board. I was looking for something I could customize for my family and I’s daily and weekly needs and that still looked “appealing to the eye” when hung in a room. I loved the barn wood color. The staff were so great at helping me make sure everything was how I wanted. Highly recommend.
