What can we use to color them? -Markers or Crayons work best as they have a larger tip to color them in faster. To test how a pen will work with coloring these, grab a scrap piece of brown cardboard you have a home and try your pen on it to see how it will show up and work.
What is the best way to glue the two halves together? -We prefer hot glue as it is ready the fastest (we recommend pre-gluing them before the event), but liquid elmers glue also works if you want to have the kids glue them.

This was such a hit at my son’s birthday party, even with the adults! We got the mini and small swords and the pickaxes. Great quality, most swords stayed intact while being played with during the party.

We loved the axes and swords for our Minecraft party. We bought paint markers and sticky gems to make them beautiful. They were sturdy but did break if hit but surprisingly not as fast as I would anticipate. Great customer service. Everyone was raving about them.
We opted to not stick the pieces together but instead use them as separate items (essentially doubling the number of cutouts). They are so cute and exactly as described. My son and I had fun coloring them (to be used on our Minecraft-themed Christmas tree this year). Wonderful quality and price; items arrived on time and perfect shape.
These were a HUGE hit at my son’s Minecraft party. They doubled up as not only an activity (coloring), but also as a party favor. I could say they also tripled up as a toy because the kids started using them to whack some thing (we were at a park) and of course they aren’t meant for that so some of them got broken, but I still think these were the best and most worthwhile purchases for a Minecraft party! I wish I ordered more because they were SO popular.

These are perfect for my daughters Minecraft party! I ordered them for the 7 year olds but then my son and a couple of his friends (all 14 year olds) also wanted one each so I ordered more. I like how they get to color the swords themselves! Perfect addition to their goodie bags. The cardboard is also a nice & thick quality. You do have to glue them together which I didn’t know, but it won’t be a problem. I plan on using my hot glue gun.
I do a lot of diy crafts and thought about cutting the minecraft sword and axe out myself until I saw these. I think they will be perfect for my grandchildren to decorate. They are very sturdy and well worth the price.
I think these will be perfect. I’m going to set up a washable marker station so the kids can color their own sword and axe! I only wish they came already glued together.
I needed 40 swords for party favors, and didn't want to spend a fortune on party favors. Initially, I ordered plastic ones from another retailer. They looked so cheap, I knew they would just end up in the trash. Thankfully , I was able to return them. I kept looking and came across these cardboard ones! They are just perfect. Nice and sturdy and I love that the kids can customize them with their favorite colors.
