What's the Difference Between Framed and Acrylic Boards?

Our framed boards are the ones that started it all back in 2016! Celeste, our founder, was looking for a cute chalkboard calendar to help her organize her life. When she couldn't find anything she liked, she decided to design one of her own! Since then, the business has expanded to a variety of calendar boards, but we all have a special place in our hearts for the framed style. 

The framed calendar board is made of high-quality, real wood, and the calendar insert is made from thick vinyl that is professionally printed. We don't seal our boards so that you can switch out your calendar designs if you so choose. The front of the frame is two-sided: one is a non-glare wet-erase surface, while the other is a dry-erase surface.

Our acrylic wall calendars are all made in-house in our workshop in Spanish Fork, Utah! Every acrylic board is professionally printed on the back, which means there are no vinyl letters that can peel off, and it won't fade or dull over time. We love the modern look of the acrylic and metallic hardware- it's such a sleek, gorgeous complement to your home!

Acrylic is a material that is much lighter than glass and will not shatter, which makes it much safer to have around children. Every acrylic board comes with a detailed hanging template so that you can hang your board with total ease.
